Postponement FAQ

On June 2020, the International Liver Symposium of ISLS organizing committee has decided to postpone the symposium once again to April 2021. Despite the decision to postpone ISLS Liver Symposium from March to August, the COVID-19 has continued to spread and the concerns regarding the pandemic and the uncertain future have grown. Thus, we have agreed that we must put the health and safety of our participants and communities in priority.

Even though it may have been inconvenient, we sincerely appreciate your support.

The ISLS Liver Symposium will be held as the information below.

  • Event: International Liver Symposium of ISLS in collaboration with Asan Liver Center
  • Date: April 16(Fri)-17(Sat), 2021(2nd postponed date)
  • Venue: 6F, East Building, Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea (Same as before)

The scientific program will not be subject to major changes.

No, you will not be required to re-submit your abstract. All abstracts are automatically moved to the new dates.

If you do not want your abstract to be presented at the symposium, please withdraw the submitted abstract by visiting ‘My Page’ and ‘delete’ the submission.

We will update the schedule with regard to the abstracts as soon as possible. There will be changes in the abstract submission deadline and the abstract acceptance notice schedule. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed after the extended deadline. The acceptance of abstracts will be notified via e-mail afterward.

Yes, if you would like to review or modify your submitted abstract(s), visit ‘My Page’.

Yes, If you would like to withdraw your submitted abstract(s), visit ‘My Page’ and click ‘delete’. If you do not withdraw the submission and complete your registration, your accepted poster abstract will be reviewed and may be included in the program book of the International Liver Symposium of ISLS and presented on the website.

If you do not want your abstract to be presented at the symposium, please withdraw the submitted abstract by visiting ‘My Page’ and ‘delete’ the submission.

Yes, if you want your abstract to be presented at the symposium, please complete your registration. If not, your abstract will be automatically withdrawn.

Step 1. Please complete your abstract submission.

Step 2. For both Korean and foreign abstract presenters, the application for the Travel Grant will be processed automatically.

Step 3. The presenting authors must pre-register for the meeting.

No, you will not be required to re-apply for your Travel Grant.

No. Travel Grant funds will be given to recipients On-site and not in advance of the symposium. If you cannot attend the symposium, you will not receive the Travel Grant.

Those who have previously been registered will be required to re-register online should you wish to attend the Symposium to be held in 2021.

The new important dates for registration will be announced later through the Newsletter and Official Website.

If you were provided with an Invitation Letter, please note that the document was written for the 2020 dates. The embassy or consulate in your country might want a new Invitation Letter for your travel visa. Please contact the secretariat by email (reg-amc-livercenter@insession.co.kr) and we will issue a new document for you.

If you have already paid (USD 50), we will be contacting you via e-mail to ask for your information regarding the reimbursement.
