Dear colleagues and friends,
As the Secretary General of the International Society of Liver Surgeons, it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the International Liver Symposium of ISLS to be held in collaboration with Asan Liver Center from August 21st (Fri) to 22nd (Sat), 2020 in Seoul, Korea.
ISLS was founded in 2016 to contribute to academic development and education by establishing the advanced standards in surgery for liver and pancreas diseases.
Our key missions are bringing surgeons and medical experts in related fields together to improve the understanding and research of liver and pancreas diseases. ISLS also aims to disseminate scientific advances in liver transplantation, liver and pancreas surgery, and endoscopic and laparoscopic liver surgery through various channels.
This March, we plan to host a symposium under the theme of “Liver Disease: Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Shaping the Future.” The event will provide a forum for holding in-depth discussions on the various treatment experiences of liver diseases as well as a meaningful opportunity for all participants to gain the most up to date knowledge and insights from the world's most distinguished experts. Furthermore, the symposium will serve as a platform on which both individuals and organizations may reinforce their expertise and core competencies and leap to higher levels of global excellence.
I hope that you will be many to join us at the symposium in the beautiful month of March. I look forward to meeting you all at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, Korea!
